Lemon Syrup
Ingredients
  • 2Cup White Sugar
  • 1Cup Water
  • 2-4 LemonsZested and Juiced
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the water and sugar, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the lemon zest to the hot syrup. Cover and steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  4. Strain into a bottle or covered container.
  5. Refrigerate for up to 2 months.
  6. Use syrup to taste to flavor beverages.
  7. Syrup can also be drizzled over hot loaf or sheet cake for additional flavor.
