Teriyaki Sauce – Single Serving

Ingredients
  • 1/4Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Mirinor dry sherry
  • 2Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegaror Saki
  • 1Tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1Clove Garlic, finely choppedor 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2Slices Fresh Ginger, choppedor 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, and simmer until volume is reduced by 1/2. If time permits, allow to sit for 15 minutes to extract flavors before straining to remove solids.
  2. This recipe is designed for a single serving. It can be multiplied easily. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, or frozen.
