Ingredients
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 3/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar or less, if desired
- 2 tsp Vanilla optional
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Large Flake Oats not quick or instant
- 2 cups Chopped fresh fruit or berries or 1 cup chopped dried fruit
- 1/4 cup Butter, melted and cooled
- Chopped nuts and/or seeds if desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish or pan.
- Combine all ingredients. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, until puffed and firm in the centre. If eating immediately, serve warm, sauced with vanilla yogurt, syrup, or additional fresh fruit.
- If planning for future meals, cool to room temperature before cutting into single servings. Wrap each in plastic and freeze. Re-heat for about 2 minutes in the microwave to serve.
