Ingredients
- For the Base:
- 2 cups Cottage Cheese
- 4 large Eggs
- 1/4 cup Flour which could be gluten free
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- Additional Ingredients:
- 2 - 3 cups Grated cheese, chopped cooked meat or fish
- chopped drained cooked vegetables
- and additional seasoning
Instructions
- Blend all base ingredients together until very smooth.
- Stir in additional ingredients, such as grated cheese, cooked meat, well-drained cooked vegetables, and additional seasonings by hand. Limit additional ingredients to a total of 2 - 3 cups.
- Bake at 350°F until puffed and firm, and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean, or to an internal temperature between 165 and 185°F . Quiche may be baked in an 8 or 9 inch square pan, in a 9 x 13 inch pan, or in muffin pans as desired.
- Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
- Cool completely to refrigerator temperature before wrapping airtight to freeze.
