This can be stored frozen for about 2 months, so if you make the big batch and have the room in your freezer, it’s great to have on hand. If your freezer is the size of a lunch box, make the smaller batch.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Mashed Potatoes
- 1 Egg yolk
- Chives or parsley For garnish
- 1 pound Ground beef (or lean ground lamb), seasoned with a little salt and pepper
- 1 tbs Water
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1-2 tbs Vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Finely chopped onion (I had shallots, so that's what I used)
- 1 cup Finely chopped mushrooms any kind
- 1 Cloves of garlic
- 1.5 tsp Tsp Tomato paste
- 1 tbs Rice flour or regular
- 3/4 cup Beef broth
- 1 tbs Soy Sauce
- 1.5 tbs Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 Carrot Diced Small
- 1 tbs Rice flour or cornstarch made into a thin paste with water
