Cranberry Sauce with Orange

Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz. package Fresh Cranberries (about 4 cups) (frozen cranberries can be used)
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Zest of One Orange
  • Segments of One Orange (removed from membranes)
Instructions
  1. Roughly chop orange segments
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar and chopped orange segments. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Continue cooking until all cranberries burst, and sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in orange zest.
  5. Serve warm, or refrigerate and serve cold.
  6. May be stored frozen in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
